Our gas systems and appliances all comply with, or exceed, the relevant Australian Standards including the nationally recognised Australian Standard ‘AS/NZS5601’. Gas plumbing is carried out by an independent, qualified and licensed gas plumber in Australia.
When shopping for a camper, ask for compliance certificates and ensure it meets or exceeds Australian Standards, as all Stoney Creek Campers do.
Important laws such as the Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989 and the Vehicle Standards Bulletin set design and construction standards for your safety, covering aspects such as mechanical connections, wiring, lighting, reflex reflectors, tyres, brakes, trailer dimensions and trailer markings. All Stoney Creek Campers comply with these standards.
Our electrical systems all meet or exceed the relevant Australian Standards (including VSB1) which govern vehicle / trailer safety. All 240-volt electrical work and wiring on our Campers is carried out by a qualified and licensed independent electrical contractor in Australia.
